This is some of the best Chinese food we've had in a very long time. Had the beef and asparagus, orange chicken, and the New York egg rolls. Big pieces of chicken, it's obviously handmade and not the frozen Panda Express. The name "Gourmet" is correct. Very well done.

Food was delicious! Just as good as it looks in the pictures. (Get the orange chicken! You won't regret it!) The service is quick and the servers are friendly with such good manners. We were sat down right away, the music was wonderful, and the food came out quick. We can't wait to come back.

We normally do Chinese delivery from Shanghai Rose but decided to give this place a try when Yelp offered it as a suggestion. I knocked of a star because the "service fee" is a bit exorbitant but, when you're lazy, you pay. And our delivery took a while but everything arrived as ordered. And, wow, the food was fantastic!! This may now be one of our new favorite go to Chinese places in the Studio City areas! The packaging and presentation of the food was clean, everything was fresh and taste was great! I definitely recommend this place!

I'm from Canada where even the smallest town has an amazing Chinese food restaurant. I have lived in the USA between nyc and LA for the last 20 years and I have not found anything that compares to Canadian Chinese. What's the difference you may ask? Well besides certain regional dishes like Ginger Beef, it seems to me that the Canadian palette appreciates food that is both sweet AND sour, where as most American Chinese is quite sweet and lacks the vinegar punch to help cut the deep fried foods. This restaurant is in the Valley and I was there for an appt and had a craving so I decided to explore and see if maybe this one would be the one. It's not. But it's close. The Fried Rice was great. I'd go back just for that. The Orange Chicken was good, but I think the addition of extra vinegar in the sauce would give it more punch. The NY style egg rolls were good, but the plum sauce they use here was weak, and didn't compliment them as well as they could. I took 2 out of the 3 home with me and used plum sauce I have and it was much better. All in all I would go back, and I'd be interested to try other things to see if I can find something that hits me sweet (and sour) spot.

Very good very nice orange chicken and egg rolls. Nice quiet vibe. Very polite and efficient.

The food was very good. The service was excellent. Was able to find parking in what can be a crowded strip mall parking lot.

Through a friend recommendation this place is really good the food came out fresh and hot, we're from San Francisco, this little restaurants slaps! Would eat again if I lived around here! Friendly service too!

The food was delicious. They actually went back and fixed it for me because it was a bit salty and now it's perfect. Praise God they had beautiful Christian music playing really made me feel at home very warm welcoming when I walked in the door The food is delicious. The service is excellent and I've seen three families come in and out neighborhood must come to.

Teya greeted me with happy welcoming voice. Never been here but hear many people talk about how wonderful this Chinese place is. There is a lunch special 11-3p everyday $11.98-$13.49 that comes with soup and wontons snacks. I ordered lobster sauce with shrimp. Yes it's delicious authentic and I finished the whole plate. Free Thai iced tea with yelp check in. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon
